The kiss between seasoned actors Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi in Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahaani, which hit theatres last month, drew the attention of the audience. Actress Esha Deol, Dharmendra’s daughter, responded to her father’s kissing scene in a recent interview with Zoom.
Esha stated to Zoom, “There is a barrier or age for love or kissing—who said so? He is the most cool! He is very attractive. Papa would write his shayari and do everything since he is naturally very amorous. He’s always been like that. I adore Shabana Ji, and Jaya Aunty has a special place in my heart. They are all experienced actors, the film was brilliantly shot, and Karan Johar is great.”
Esha also addressed the topic of whether she saw the movie as Dharmendra’s daughter or a member of the audience. “No!” she yelled. Because I am his daughter, I was unable to watch many of the parts as an observer; there were many difficult and emotional scenes, but I still wanted to see the film.”
Esha Deol gets candid
According to news agency ANI, Sunny Deol stated during a recent press conference regarding his father’s romantic scene in the movie, “I believe my genes originate from my father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Because it’s all in our genes, we’ll continue. Have you recently seen Papa in that movie? He had a lovely romantic scene. This is a genetic trait.”
Dharmendra responded, “Bahut mazaa aaya (It was fun)” when questioned about it during the movie’s success party, as reported by ANI. He further said, “As I’m getting messages from the populace, I responded, “This is easy for me; if there’s anything difficult, make me do that as well. Ye to mere daaye haath ka kaam hai kuch baaye haath se karvana ho vo bhi karva lo.”
The lead actors in the movie are Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. In the film, Rocky, played by Ranveer Singh, and Alia Bhatt’s Rani cross paths while looking for the connection that their respective grandparents once shared. In the movie, the Shabana-Dharmendra relationship unfolds to classic Hindi songs.
