After operating a Beatle and antique Rolls Royce, MS Dhoni was next spotted on Ranchi’s streets operating a 1973 Pontiac Trans Am SD-455. The wicketkeeper batsman for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) looked super cool while driving off on a long drive while donning sunglasses. Dhoni, who is recovering from knee surgery, is taking advantage of his downtime to relax with his classic vehicles and bikes.

For those who don’t know, the former India skipper in Ranchi has an impressive collection of vehicles. Dhoni owns a big collection of Superbikes, vintage cars, and SUVs. Former Indian team bowler Venkatesh Prasad shared a glimpse of his nearly 100 automobiles and motorcycles in a video posted to Twitter.

Venkatesh Prasad took to twitter earlier this month and wrote with the caption, “One of the craziest passions I have seen in a person. What a collection and what a man MSD is. A great achiever and an even more incredible person. This is a glimpse of his collection of bikes and cars in his Ranchi house. Just blown away by the man and his passion.”

Additionally, Sakshi reported that Dhoni is doing well after having knee surgery. Immediately following the conclusion of the IPL 2023 season, the CSK captain underwent surgery. The 42-year-old told CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan that he will have surgery and would take his time before returning to the team or retiring.

After winning the title versus Gujarat Titans, Dhoni spoke to Harsha Bhogle regarding delaying his retirement announcement and expressed his desire to participate in one more IPL season as a favour to the fans. The decision of the wicketkeeper-batter, however, totally depends on his recovery. The former captain of India still has plenty of time to decide what is best for CSK since the IPL 2024 season is still eight months away.
