Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, the famous Bollywood couple, are expecting their first child. Reports state that Deepika is purportedly in her second trimester. In 2018, the famous pair tied the knot. Her due date is September 2024. On Thursday, Deepika and Ranveer announced their pregnancy via a social media post. It said in the post, “September 2024.”
There were rumors going around earlier suggesting Deepika Padukone might be expecting. These rumours originated from reports that she covered up her midsection on the red carpet at the 77th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) while donning a shimmering saree. Deepika Padukone looked stunning in a couture saree and Sabyasachi Mukherjee-designed custom jewellery.

Deepika revealed her excitement for motherhood in a January 2024 statement to Vogue Singapore, saying, “Ranveer and I love children. We eagerly anticipate the day when we can begin a family of our own. She also discussed her upbringing, stressing the value of maintaining your groundedness in the face of wealth and fame.”
She further added, “It’s simple to get carried away by money and fame in this industry. At home, though, I’m treated like a nobody. Above all, I am a sister and a daughter. I hope that doesn’t alter. My family helps me stay grounded, and Ranveer and I want to teach our kids the same morals.”
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone first crossed paths on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Ram Leela.” The couple, who tied the knot in accordance with Sindhi and Konkani customs, had a beautiful wedding at Lake Como in Italy. Only immediate family members and close friends were invited to the secret wedding. Nonetheless, the couple graciously hosted extravagant receptions for their friends, coworkers, and media representatives in Bengaluru and Mumbai.
Regarding work, Deepika most recently starred in the smash film ‘Jawan‘ starring Shah Rukh Khan. Her upcoming film is ‘Singham Again,’ directed by Rohit Shetty. She will appear on screen alongside Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh, among others. Fans of the couple cannot wait to see more of them on the big screens.
