As India moves ahead with the time, India batter Mayank Agarwal finally revealed the mystery behind the picture. After four long years, Mayank revealed that the hand on Pant’s shoulder is his only.

In a social media post, Mayank said, “After years of extensive research, debates, and countless conspiracy theories, let the nation finally know.” Further revealing the truth behind the picture, Agarwal said, “It is my hand on @RishabhPant17’s shoulder. Any and all other claims are misleading and not true.”
It’s worth noting that Mayank Agarwal was part of the Indian contingent as a travelling reserve. He was in England with the squad but didn’t participate in any of the matches. The Indian team brilliantly won seven out of nine league games but eventually failed to hold pressure in a rain-interrupted semifinal match against the Black Caps. However, this year Rohit Sharma and company are set to rewrite history with the dream of three.
