Discarded India opening batter Prithvi Shaw‘s CCTV footage from the pub in February this year has surfaced on social media. He and his friend got involved in a fight with social media influencer, Sapna Gill and her friend. The latter had asked for a selfie from Shaw for which the cricketer obliged. However, it was alleged that when Gill’s friend asked for another one, Shaw denied it and left.
After this, it was alleged that the likes of Gill and her friend chased Shaw and eventually, attacked Shaw’s car when he wasn’t there. After this, Gill was arrested but was posted bail. In reply, Shaw was slapped with a molestation case by the Bhojpuri film actress. For the last few months, the investigation was going on while Shaw played for Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2023.
However, recently, Mumbai Police said that the case is a fraud from Gill. The police said that the case is false while Gill’s lawyer requested the court to allow them to collect the CCTV footage of the brawl. In the video, Gill was sitting on a sofa. When the fight started and became bad, Gill got involved and Shaw can be seen being controlled by friends. The right-hander can bee seen ready to have a fight

On the other hand, Gill can be seen holding a baseball bat while chasing down the 2018 U19 World Cup-winning captain. As per reports, The police further asserted that they had reviewed CCTV images taken from the Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower. The police said that the social media star can be seen breaking Shaw’s car’s windscreen in the CCTV footage.
