ODI World Cup 2023 hosts India Cricket Team has requested the board to allocate their games at those venues on which their spinner would get assistance. Talking about the tournament venues, Nagpur, Bengaluru, Trivandrum, Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Rajkot, Indore, Bengaluru, and Dharamshala being short-listed as venues, even for practice fixtures. Meanwhile, Men In Blue have reportedly allocated their venues out of these.
Talking about the teams in the tournament, eight out of 10 teams have been finalized. Teams who have missed the direct qualification will play in the WC Qualifier tournament. Meanwhile, the hosts of the tournament, who are searching for their first World Championship after 2013 would like to make the most of the home conditions against the likes of England, Australia, New Zealand, etc.
“The Indian team has performed well on slow tracks in the past few years at home. So the team management had requested that whenever the schedule is being prepared the Indian team should face top teams on slow pitches. They wanted to have a home advantage,” a source in the Indian Cricket Board told The Indian Express.
Existing infrastructure will be upgraded before the World Cup: Jay Shah

An amount of 500 crores INR has been allocated to complete the task. The board will look to concentrate on clean toilets, easy access, and many other things for the tournament.

Not to forget that our batsmen aren't great at playing spin either. It might backfire . Better to Prepare an even pitches instead.
