The first Test is set to take place at Perth Stadium in Perth, while the second match is scheduled for the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground on December 26, known for the traditional Boxing Day Test. The series will conclude with the third and final Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground starting from January 3.
Both the teams will be eager to come up with their A-game, especially Pakistan, who have never won any Test series on Australian soil. Pat Cummins, who took a break after leading Australia to their 6th World Cup title, is making a return as the captain for the longest format. On the other hand, Pakistan will be under the new leadership of Shan Masood, who replaces Babar Azam. Earlier, Babar himself stepped down from the captaincy in all three formats.
