Ambati Rayudu, Devon Conway and other CSK players signed by Texas Super Kings for Major League Cricket 2023

Ambati Rayudu announced his retirement from all forms of cricket ahead of IPL 2023 final last month.

Former India cricketers, Ambati Rayudu, New Zealand internationals Devon Conway and Mitchell Santner, and former West Indies skipper Dwayne Bravo have been signed by Texas Super Kings. The team is owned by the Chennai Super Kings franchise owners in the IPL. The same franchise also owns the Joburg Super Kings in the SA20 played early this year. Meanwhile, talking about these players, they are part of the CSK setup.

Rayudu played his last IPL game in the final of the 2023 edition. Ahead of the game, he announced his retirement from the game. On the other hand, Conway and Santner were part of the winning side with the latter playing less number of games. Apart from them, Bravo was part of the team as the bowling coach as he announced his retirement from the league early this year.

David Miller, who plays for Gujarat Titans in the IPL and Paarl Royals in SA20 is also signed by Texas Super Kings. Daniel Sams, who was part of the Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2023 is also included. A notable signing in the team is Sami Aslam, who is the former Pakistan international. After getting ignored by Pakistan Cricket, he decided to retire from Pakistan Cricket in late 2020.

Talking about the tournament, it will start on July 13 and conclude on July 30. Teams such as Texas Super Kings, MI New York, LA Knight Riders, Washington Freedom, San Francisco Unicorns, and Seattle Orcas will compete for the title.
