With Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious project ‘Ramayana’, Yash has already secured his place in Bollywood. Now, we hear that the superstar of Kannada is in talks for his second Hindi project and has even mentioned his wish to collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan. With the success of the ‘KGF’ franchise, the actor has gained widespread recognition. In Tiwari’s cinematic adaptation of the legend, he plays Ravana and makes his debut in the Hindi film industry. He’s in talks to work on an action project for his upcoming trip.
A source claims, “Yash is aware that the popularity of the KGF franchise has given him a sizable following among Hindi viewers. And for that reason, among others, he is eager to expand into Bollywood.”
Rocking Star Yash and his Bollywood debut:
The insider continues, “He is in no mood to take it slow even though he is caught up with the shoot of the next part of KGF and Ramayana. He is currently in negotiations to star in an action movie for his second picture. For the project, he is speaking with Red Chillies Entertainment. They have currently discussed the creative ideas with the actor, who has expressed interest in seeing how it works out.”
Indeed, rumours also suggest that he has expressed a wish to collaborate with actor Shah Rukh Khan. Talks about his collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan have surfaced, and the concept thrilled the actors immensely. To work together, though, they need the right project because there will be high expectations, and they don’t want to let their fans down. They therefore prefer it to be a deliberate action rather than a snap decision. A source close to Yash, however, denied the allegations, stating that he is “currently focussing on projects he has in his hands.”
As we previously reported, it is thought that Yash is demanding more than ?150 crore for Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’, in which Sai Pallavi plays Sita and Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama. The source said at the time, “He is charging between ?100 crore and ?150 crore for the film, with ?100 crore being the minimum, and the higher limit depends on the number of days he is supposed to shoot and give to the schedules.”
