The two batters have been doing it for the entire ODI World Cup 2023. The two experienced batters have had different approaches for their success in the tournament. While Rohit has butchered the bowling attacks from his end, Virat has been elegant and anchored the innings at number 3, after the initial attack from the captain.

The former left-arm pacer concluded that Rohit has been able to go hard at the top, as he knows that Virat could anchor the innings after him. Likewise, Nehra agreed with the fact that Rohit Sharma going hard at the top has eased the pressure off other batters. Nehra said that the two cricketers are like two sides of the coin, which coexist with each other.
“Why Rohit Sharma can play so fearless & aggressively is because Virat Kohli is there – Virat Kohli plays with his time because Rohit Sharma plays like this so both seem to be two sides of a coin, they play together for the team,” said Nehra. Against Australia, India would be hoping to get the best from both players. Kohli and Sharma are currently among the top 5 highest run scorers in the tournament.
