ODI World Cup 2023

India vs Australia : ODI World Cup 2023 – Weather Report and Match Preview

India and Australia will be meeting in the ODI World Cup final for the second time in their history.

Narendra Modi stadium, Ahmedabad

The ODI World Cup 2023 final is just a night’s sleep away. Two of the best teams of the tournament will be facing each other in the final of the tournament. Two times champions India would be facing the five time winner Australia in the final. This shapes up to be one of the most exciting games of the tournament till now.

The Indian team is full of superstars who have been performing in every match as of now. The Indian top-order has been in and amongst the runs. The middle-order which haunted the side in the previous edition, looks more settled and balanced.

The all-rounder and lower order helps the side a lot during setting the total. Bowlers have been the key for Team India as they have bowled out their opposition in eight out of their 10 games. Shami’s return has bolstered the side massively and have dominated every opposition in all of their games.

Australia, on the other hand, have settled down on their strongest playing XI. Their top and middle order boasts of players with skill, experience and ability to play attacking shots. Their all-rounders make their batting line-up stronger and can contribute well with the ball.

The bowlers have been a bit of a concern as they have lacked wickets amongst them. However, with a strong performance in the semis, they would be high on confidence. Spinners have been their major key to the wickets.

Narendra Modi stadium Pitch report and weather report

Ahmedabad’s surface is an excellent pitch for seamers and spinners alike, with something for everyone to enjoy. There are going to be plenty of opportunities for runs to be scored, but the middle order batters will need to wait patiently.

Three of the previous five games played at this location have been won by teams batting second. The side that wins the coin toss will almost certainly choose to bat first because of how difficult it is going to be to chase in the crunch of the finals.

Expect a bright, sunny sky on the big day, with a high temperature of 33°C as well as a low of 19°C. While there is little chance of rain, as the game goes into the evening, the humidity will rise. Dew will be the main thing that the captains might be thinking about, ahead of the toss tomorrow.
