AB De Villiers reveal reason behind Virat Kohli’s absence from first two Test matches against England

kab

The India vs England series is still going on with the Indians in a great position in the game as they have ended day 2 with a lead of 171 runs with the openers unbeaten on 28 runs. The performances from Jasprit Bumrah and Yashasavi Jaiswal were one of the highlights of the game, but there is still one batter who the fans are still missing in these matches who is none other than Virat Kohli. The former India skipper is not only one of the best batters right now top ever grace the field, but also one of the most successful Indian players against England with 1991 runs in 28 matches at an average of 42.36.

Virat was supposed to feature in the series and was named in the squad, but had to, unfortunately, miss the first two Tests due to some personal reasons. This came as a shock and disappointment for the fans who were looking forward to seeing Virat play against this in-form England side and score some big runs against them. Virat will come back in the next three Test matches, but the fans are still curious as to what the reasons for the legendary batter to exclude himself from this 5-match Test series against a side that he has enjoyed scoring runs against as well.

AB De Villiers solves the mystery

There will be a lot of cricketers who have known Virat for a long time in his illustrious career, but there is only one man who might know him the best. The man we are talking about is Mr. 360 Ab De Villiers who has played a lot of matches with Virat in the Indian Premier League(IPL) with the Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB). While talking about his best friend AB has responded to say that he is missing him on the pitch and also reveals that Virat is having his 2nd child. In the end, AB says that he cannot wait to see him back and supports his decision to give time to his family.

All we can say is congratulations to the king who is about to be a father of two and support and hope that his family is in good health. We as fans are also missing Virat finally comes back in the match and plays his great knocks which he is known for. Virat has given us a lot of good memories in his career, so it is our duty as lovers of this sport to appreciate the happiest moments of his life as well. We still want to see Virat score another century on the field and we are glad that he is at least going to feature in the upcoming Test matches. The legacy and career of Virat are still alive and we wish to see him at his best in the upcoming games.
