Virat Kohli, the Indian cricketer, ended his century drought in ODI cricket by scoring his 44th ODI century against Bangladesh in the third ODI on December 10, Saturday. While it was a day of celebration for the Indian batter, the following day was his fifth wedding anniversary, with his wife Anushka Sharma.
Eventually, the Indian batter took to Twitter to express his love and gratitude to his beloved wife. The duo is one of the most followed and celebrated couple in India and it comes on the back of their courteous behaviour with their fans. Fans, who reacted to his Tweet, were in awe of his respect for his wife, given that it is a common factor in India.
“5 years on a journey for eternity. How blessed I am to find you, I love you with all my heart,” Kohli wrote on his Twitter account, winning hearts yet again. The duo married in Italy in a private ceremony in 2017 and they have a daughter named Vamika.

Can Virat Kohli continue his form into Tests?
India clinched an emphatic win against Bangladesh in the third ODI and eventually refrained the Bangla Tigers from whitewashing the team, given that the Litton Das-led team won the first two matches. After struggling to find his rhythm in the first two games, Kohli bounced back in the third and eventually scored his 44th international century. While Ishan Kishan was praised for his brave-hearted 210, Kohli, on the other hand, became the cricketer with the second-most international hundreds with 72 to his name, overtaking Ricky Ponting’s record of 71.
As India aim to take on the Bangla Tigers from the Test series set to get underway on Wednesday, the Indian superstar would hope to make a comeback in the longest format of the game as well, given that he has already regained his form in the T20Is and ODIs. It remains to be seen if the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma would get fit on time, but to go by reports, it would be KL Rahul who might be leading the team for the first Test.
