England women’s cricket team players Natalie Sciver and Katherine Brunt tied the knots in a private ceremony. The event was graced by the presence of Heather Knight, Danielle Wyatt, Isha Guha, and Jenny Gunn.
The two announced their engagement in October 2019 and they were supposed to get married in September of 2020. But owing to the COVID 19 pandemic the function got postponed.
Sciver and Brunt will be the third renowned pair of an international team to get married. Previously South Africa’s Dane van Niekerk-Marizanne Kapp and New Zealand’s Lea Tahuhu and Amy Sattherwaite have got married.

England were the runners-up of the 2022 edition as they lost the final to Australia by 71 runs. But Sciver played a heart-winning knock of 148 runs and fought a lone battle for her team.
Sciver averaged 72 .66 in the tournament as she scored 436 runs in the event. She was the third-highest run-scorer behind Australia’s Rachael Haynes (497) and Alyssa Healy (509). Sciver was also picked up four wickets in nine matches during the tournament.

Brunt has 316 wickets to her name across all formats. She is also the leading wicket-taker for England in ODIs with 167 scalps to her name in 140 matches.
