Jos Buttler hit his fourth hundred of the Indian T20 League 2022 in the Qualifier 2 game against Bangalore in Ahmedabad. This knock helped Rajasthan chase down the target of 158 runs in just 18.1 overs. The innings was loaded with 10 fours and six sixes. With this century, the Englishman has equalled the record of Virat Kohli’s four hundreds in a season. This record was made in 2016 when the Bangalore-based franchise made it to the final.
Meanwhile, the knock is getting a lot of praise from the cricketing circles. However, England women’s player Alexandra Hartley has made an interesting comment on the 2019 World Cup winner. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) uploaded an image of the Lancashire player celebrating his hundred on their official Twitter handle. In reply, Hartley pointed out the jump the 31-year-old made after scoring the ton.
Have a look at Hartley’s response
I’m more impressed with how high he’s jumped off the floor tbh. ? https://t.co/FbXa3QviyR
