Jos Buttler hit his fourth hundred of the Indian T20 League 2022 in the Qualifier 2 game against Bangalore in Ahmedabad. This knock helped Rajasthan chase down the target of 158 runs in just 18.1 overs. The innings was loaded with 10 fours and six sixes. With this century, the Englishman has equalled the record of Virat Kohli’s four hundreds in a season. This record was made in 2016 when the Bangalore-based franchise made it to the final.

Meanwhile, the knock is getting a lot of praise from the cricketing circles. However, England women’s player Alexandra Hartley has made an interesting comment on the 2019 World Cup winner. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) uploaded an image of the Lancashire player celebrating his hundred on their official Twitter handle. In reply, Hartley pointed out the jump the 31-year-old made after scoring the ton.

Meanwhile, the 2008-winners will play Gujarat in the final of the 15th season on May 29. The team would be looking to win their second title after the inaugural season of the cash-rich league. On the other hand, Gujarat will be looking to win their maiden title in their debut season. Talking about Hartley, she has played 28 ODIs and four T20Is for her country.

She made her international debut in an ODI game against Pakistan in 2016. She also made her T20I debut in the same year against the same opponents. In the 50-over format, the left-arm spinner has 39 wickets to her name averaging 24.35, striking at 35.6, and an economy rate of 4.10 with the best figures of 24/4. In the shortest format of the game, the 28-year-old has only three scalps to her name averaging 26.33, striking at 23.3, and an economy rate of 6.77 with the best figures of 19/2.

The Lancashire player played her last international games in 2019. Currently, she is working as a broadcaster and grinding in domestic cricket for Lancashire to play international cricket once again. Notably, she plays for Manchester Originals in The Hundred.
