India came into the 3rd T20I game against West Indies with a lot on the line as they would want to avoid losing a T20I series against the Caribbean side for the first time since 2016. The West Indies won the toss and elected to bat, and Kyle Mayers and Brandon King were able to put up a 50-run opening stand. The West Indies openers succeeded in scoring 38 runs during the powerplay.
Axar Patel finally was able to dismiss Mayers, and Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Johnson Charles. The attack was then launched by Nicholas Pooran, but Kuldeep halted him from doing as much destruction as he had in the previous two games.
The West Indies then had a strong finish thanks to Rovman Powell, scoring 159/5 after 20 overs. Powell had a perfect 40 off 19 score, where he was able to hit one four and three maximums to take the West Indies to this total.

West Indies kept losing momentum today while SKY continued to climb the ladder. Suryakumar was called to the crease as a result of Jaiswal’s early dismal, which included him throwing away his wicket in the first over. He only needed somebody to support him on the other end which Tilak Varma performed flawlessly.
The pair accumulated 87 runs for the third wicket with the perfect balance of aggression and composure, ensuring that by the moment Suryakumar was out, the match was already over.
