England pacer Ollie Robinson has been under attack from former Australian players and fans. Apparently, he sent abusive verbal volleys toward Usman Khawaja after getting him out. The latter scored 140-odd in the first innings after which England placed a few close-in fielders in front of him. This led to him trying to take a chance but that didn’t come off.
After Khawaja’s wicket, Robinson shouted and celebrated and has been accused of sending down abuses. After this, the right-arm pacer defended his actions. He said “For me it’s my first home Ashes, and to get the big wicket at the time was special for me. Uzzy played unbelievably well and to get that wicket was massive. We all want that theatre of the game don’t we? I’m here to provide it.”

Meanwhile, Australia won the first Ashes Test by two wickets. After the game, former Aussie cricketers such as Ricky Ponting and others have been going to Robinson. Recently, the likes of Ian Healy and Matthew Hayden have had a go at Robinson.
“That’s how you combat England as well. As soon as Pat Cummins started coming at Joe Root and hit a couple of sixes,” Hayden said in a conversation with SEN Radio
“Then the other bloke, he’s a forgettable cricketer.
“A fast bowler that is bowling 124 (kph) nude nuts and he’s got a mouth from the south.”
Ian Healy asked: “Who, Ollie Robinson?”
Hayden continued: “Someone like him, you can just go, ‘Brother, I’m coming at ya’.
“Davey Warner can do that, right. He can just say, ‘You’re bowling 120km…’.”

I am fine with Robinson though . He sometimes bowls very very unplayable balls . I think at Lords they should bring Woakes and Wood for Robinson and Jimmy . Wood can easily clean the tail compared to these as Wood as White ball experience and know to take Tail wickets
