Chennai Super Kings batter Shivam Dube has discovered his magic with the bat in the ongoing IPL 2023. Apart from scoring 363 runs in 13 games, he has hit 30 sixes, only behind Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Faf du Plessis (34). Meanwhile, in the ongoing game against Kolkata Knight Riders, Dube hit a six over extra cover. The incident happened in the 12th over of the first innings.
Notably, the ball went toward the KKR cheerleaders like a tracer bullet. Thankfully, they managed to escape the ball and didn’t get hurt but the expression on their faces made it clear how much they were terrorized. Talking about Dube, he scored 48 off 34 balls including three sixes and a four. At one stage, the home team, CSK lost five wickets for 72 runs. Thanks to him and Ravindra Jadeja, the team reached 144/3.
However, this hasn’t been enough for the team as the likes of KKR skipper Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh are looking to take the team home. After losing three wickets for 33, the two-time winners have scored 117/3, needing only 28 runs in the last five overs.
