Former India cricketer and captain MS Dhoni‘s craze is known to all. Fans across the globe got to all extents to show their admiration for the 41-year-old. There have been many such instances in the past where fans have showered love on Dhoni.
Now, a fan of the 2011 and 2007 World Cup-winning captain has done something that is never heard of before. The fan printed MS Dhoni’s image on his wedding card. The image of the wedding invitation is going viral on the internet and the fans were left in disbelief looking at it. Referring to Dhoni’s jersey number, 7, many said the “saat phere (7 rounds)” of the wedding was now justified.

In the meantime, in a video clip shared by the franchise on Twitter, the Chennai team captain was seen hitting some monstrous sixes while facing both spinners and pacers in what appeared to be an intra-squad simulated session.
As the former Indian cricketer continues to train for the T20 event, fans are looking forward to Dhoni’s appearance in the Indian T20 League 2023. As the legendary wicketkeeper-batter announced his retirement from international cricket in August 2020, the ITL is the only platform where Dhoni can be seen in full action.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the world champion will play the first match in Chennai in three years, and fans are understandably excited. Former Australia opener Matthew Hayden spoke on Star Sports about the reception Dhoni will receive when he walks onto the field at Chepauk for the Indian T20 League 2023.
“It will be an amazing moment. I think last year, we were all under the impression that will MSD come back again. At the close of the IPL season, he made that huge comment to say that he would be back. Now, what that means for all that Yellow Army is that Chennai suddenly galvanized a tad around the superior leader, who has done it for so long. This will, most certainly, I think, be the close of his IPL career. So, those few games at the start are not only going to be key for the fans, his performance is also going to be key for CSK this season,” Hayden said.
