The 24th match of the Indian T20 League 2022 was an entertaining affair between Gujarat and Rajasthan. Gujarat won their fourth match of the tournament on the back of their skipper, Hardik Pandya’s brilliant all-around performance. The fans were all ecstatic to see Hardik’s brilliant exploits in all three aspects of the game. However, there was another moment in the match that grabbed the fan’s attention. The moment involved Jos Buttler asking the umpire to check a boundary call after his fielding efforts near the boundary ropes.
Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh took to Twitter lauding Buttler for his sportsmanship. However, a part of the Tweet from Yuvi did not go down well with the fans. The part of the tweet that has agitated the fans was “other players should learn from him specially team mates!!!â€
During the 12th over of Gujarat’s innings, Hardik Pandya played James Neesham towards long-on where Buttler attempted to save a boundary. However, he was not sure about his efforts and signaled the umpires to check whether he has touched the ropes. The umpires confirmed with the help of replays that Buttler’s hands touched the boundary ropes. The fans were happy to see such honesty from the English cricketer. This prompted Yuvraj Singh to praise Buttler on Twitter, however, a part of the Tweet agitated a section of the fans.
The fans interpreted that Yuvi’s Tweet was pointed to Buttler’s fellow teammate Ravi Ashwin. The fans supported the Indian off-spinner, commenting that he does what he does according to the rules of the game and it was unfair on Yuvraj’s part to point out to him in such a way.
If he is referring to Ashwin, it’s just a cheap shot. Anyway Ashwin is doing the right thing and is a trendsetter.

WHAT EVEN-
If you ever played cricket thenyou'd know that everything happens too quickly, you may not be aware of EVERYTHING happening around all the time, especially at the boundary, the fact that he asked them to go for a 3rd ump referral without claiming falsely needs applaud— Revanth sriraj (@RevanthSriraj) April 14, 2022
You should have retired out like Ashwin during world cup final.

Ohk , Ashwin dropped him from the Punjab team when Ash was the captain of KXIP , hence this bitterness.
Keep doing it , keep spoiling your legacy 👋👋— Cheeku (@Lost_guy01) April 14, 2022
Why so much hate.
It takes time to earn respect but just moments to lose it.— Rohan Mali (@ro21_9) April 14, 2022

What is the obsession people with Ashwin 😂
He's one of the smartest minds in the game and people can't cope with that

Talking about Jos Buttler, he is looking in great touch with the bat in hand in the Indian T20 League 2022. He played a fiery knock of 54 runs off 24 balls against Rajasthan. However, Rajasthan lacked the resilience in the middle order and failed to chase down the target of 193 run set by Gujarat and lost the match by 37 runs.
