Hardik Pandya has had a resurgent of sorts after being out of the game last year. This year, the 28-year-old came back and took the debutants Gujarat to a maiden Indian T20 League trophy. Captaining a club team for the very first time, Pandya not only showcased cricketing prowess but also impressed all with his leadership qualities.
On the back of his impressive performance in the Indian T20 League, he came straight back into the national side and has been integral to India’s success since then.
Hardik has been named into the India squad for the upcoming Asia Cup in UAE. India are slated to play against Pakistan on August 28th and Pandya would certainly make it to the playing XI. Currently, the senior players are on rest and are readying themselves for the highly anticipated Asia Cup.
Recently, Pandya uploaded a video on his Instagram account showing a glimpse of his life. The video shows Hardik Pandya traveling in a private jet before taking part in light training. He also meets his mother and puts his child to sleep. The video has been watched by more than 600k people on Instagram and it keeps on getting views as it gets older.
The video has been captioned, “A Day in my life.”

India are scheduled to play Pakistan in Dubai in what is going to be one of the most anticipated games in recent times. Notably, India and Pakistan do not play bilateral series against each other due to political differences between the government of both countries.
The cricketing greats only meet each other in continental or world events like the Asia Cup or the World Cup. The Indian squad for the upcoming tournament has some notable changes with the absence of Jasprit Bumrah being the biggest of them all. Ravi Bishnoi and R Ashwin has also been selected for the Asia Cup.
