Throughout that tournament, he took seven wickets in five matches with an average of 25.14. In 2021, he was also in Australia’s 20-over World Cup-winning campaign. Pakistan defeated its arch-rivals India with ease. Mohammad Amir was the star of that final with his vicious spell at the start of the innings. In that event, he scored 133 runs in five matches. In the final, Babar scored 46 runs off 52 balls. Hence, he also won that major trophy in his career with his only attempt.
