Meanwhile, after the game, the RR youngster has an interesting response to his dismissal.

The right-hander has said that when he will look at the scorecard and will be proud after seeing himself getting run out by Dhoni. The conversation happened in a Vlog uploaded by the 2008 winners on YouTube. In the video, the players can be seen traveling to Mumbai for the next game against the Mumbai Indians.

“When I will have a look a at the scorecard after 20 years, and when it says that Dhoni sir ran me out, I will feel very proud. My name would be up there, and next to it would be Dhoni sir’s name. And that’s enough for me!” Jurel said on Rajasthan Royals’ YouTube channel.

Meanwhile, the Pink Brigade beat the four-time winners by 32 runs. Batting first, the home team, Rajasthan amassed 202/5, thanks to Yashasvi Jaiswal (77), Devdutt Padikkal (27*), and Dhruv Jurel (34). In reply, the Yellow Army could only reach 170/6 with Shivam Dube scoring a fifty.

After the game, Dhoni praised Jurel and other opposition batters.

“In the end of the innings, Jurel batted well but I think it’s the first six where it got away from us,” Dhoni said.

The Jaipur-based team’s skipper Sanju Samson also praised the likes of Jaiswal, Jurel, and Padikkal.

“The way youngsters Jaiswal, Devdutt, Jurel batted was outstanding, the mindset of attack, attack and attack is something we will keep promoting in the dressing room,” Samson said.
