Yuvraj Singh appeared on the popular podcast The Ranveer Show and the video was published earlier today
India’s previous two World Cup championship victories are undoubtedly linked to Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni. The latter led his country in both the 2011 ODI World Cup as well as the 2007 T20 World Cup. In the meantime, the former was voted performer of the Tournament during 2011 and proved to be India’s greatest performer in the first World T20 competition.
Despite their retirement from international cricket, both of them are still regarded as India’s best middle-order hitters in the history of white-ball cricket. Nonetheless, there have been concerns raised over Yuvraj’s personal connection with Dhoni following some recent disclosures. The former India all-rounder said on Saturday in a recent interview that he and Dhoni aren’t good friends.
During a discussion on TRS Clips on YouTube, Yuvraj disclosed that their friendship stems solely from their shared love of cricket; their lifestyles do not extend beyond the pitch. He acknowledged having done so while serving as Dhoni’s deputy and captain.
Even though the all-around player disagreed with many of his choices, he was grateful that the famous wicket keeper had informed him, just prior to the 2019 World Cup, that the selection committee was not considering him for the team.

Yuvraj Singh said, “Me and Mahi are not close friends. We were friends because of cricket, we played together. Mahi’s lifestyle was very different from me, so we were never close friends, we were only friends because of cricket. When me and Mahi went on the ground, we gave more than 100% to our country.”
The former left-handed batter added, “In that, he was captain, I was vice-captain. When I came into the team, I was 4 years junior. When you are captain and vice-captain, there will be decision differences.”
Yuvraj Singh narrated the story of how MS Dhoni told him the truth ahead of the ODI World Cup 2019. He said, “When I was at the end of my career, when I wasn’t getting the right picture about my career, I asked him for advice. He was the guy who told me that the selection committee is not looking you right now. I was like, at least I got to know the real picture. This is just before 2019 World Cup. That is the reality.”

Those two were friends on the cricketing field and gave the country 2 world cups. It doesn't matter who is who outside the pitch as long as they got results on the pitch. Yuvi Dhoni were always getting those results.
