Social Media influencer and Model Sapna Gill has given an application to Mumbai police seeking an FIR against the Indian Cricketer Prithvi Shaw for the charges of molestation. Recently, the star Indian Cricketer indulged in a rage with Sapna and her friend, after they attacked him and his friend for not taking a selfie.

The actress was arrested by the Mumbai police and released on bail by a magistrate court on February 20. After that, her lawyer, Kaashif Ali Khan filed an application seeking the registration of an FIR against Shaw, along with his other friends, including Ashish Yadav for “alleged molestation and outraging of modesty,” as quoted by Sportskeeda.

In her application, Sapna claimed that she visited the club along with her friend Shobit Thakur. Being a cricket fan, Thakur approached Shaw for a selfie and was unaware of the brutality. Thakur couldn’t defend himself, so Sapna had to intervene in the matter.

“Thakur, who is just a teenager, was unaware of the brutality of the drunken mob. Thakur was helpless and was unable to defend himself. Hence, she (Gill) intervened and entered the fray trying to stop Shaw and others from further harming and injuring Thakur,” stated in an application by Sapna.

‘He was totally drunk’ – Sapna

During her hearing in a Mumbai court on February 17, Sapna alleged Shaw for hitting on her chest and arm. She further claimed that the Indian batter later apologized to her and requested her to not file a police complaint.

“He (Shaw) hit me on the chest and arms. We were there just to take help of police. They were eight to ten people and we were just two. I do not know him, nor I have ever seen him. I never asked for a selfie with him. He was totally drunk. He was in front of a police station, he could have filed the FIR then only,” said Sapna in her hearing as quoted in Sportskeeda.
