WTC 2023: Australia to battle against ‘poor record’ that stands for 140 years at The Oval against India

The Oval will host Test Championship final on which India and Australia don’t have a great record.

Ahead of the Test Championship final 2023, Australia and India will have to battle with a poor record at The Oval, London. The venue will host the final between these two teams. Talking about the Aussies, they played at this venue for the first time in 1880. Since then, they have played 38 games but have only seven wins. They played their last Test in the 2019 Ashes and went on to lose the game.

With this, they have a mere 18.42 win percentage, their worst record across England venues. However, they have a great win percentage at Lord’s (43.59), Headingly (34.62), Trent Bridge (29.03), and Old Trafford (26.67). Talking about India, even though they don’t have a good record, they lost their last game at this venue in 2021. Talking about India’s record, they have won two, drawn seven, and lost five games.
