This generation’s finest pacer, Shoaib Akhtar, usually doesn’t limit his trades to the game. He has been active with his parallel interests, including his YouTube work. Akhtar was also seen in a recent episode on Indian influencer and content creator Tanmay Bhatt’s YouTube channel, introducing the larger audience to the former Pakistani speedster’s funnier side.
This time, however, he is coming up with his own talk show scheduled to be aired on Friday, February 17. Some video clips of his upcoming show have already hit the masses on social media, and the hilarious conversations that Akhtar makes in them are already hyping up the show even before its official release.
Of them, a particular clip with Pakistani Model Nida Yasir has caught the attention of the masses for Akhtar’s clever wordplay. Yasir, attending the show as a guest, is asked, ‘In which year did Pakistan win the 1992 World Cup?’ to which she appears clueless, immediately turning to her co-guest for help. The other guest, in return, whispers the year ‘1992’.
The Rawalpindi Express, this time, immediately changes the question to ‘In which year did Pakistan win the 2009 World Cup?’
Here’s the hilarious clip:

Shoaib Akhtar’s latest TV Show is named ‘The Shoaib Akhtar Show’
For the record, Pakistan won the ODI World Cup in 1992, while their maiden 20-20 World Cup title came in the year 2009. Seeing the surprising reaction from Yasir to such an easy question, fans were quick to troll the famous model.
As mentioned earlier, Akhtar has not limited himself to cricket. He has been featured in several videos on his YouTube channel, where he would often critique Pakistan and other teams’ performances. Akhtar seems to be exploring his humourous side more with this latest endeavour.
The show would be called ‘The Shoaib Akhtar Show’ and the leaked clips suggests it’s a light-hearted talk show with varying guests being called on each episode. As the sort of person who doesn’t like to mince his words, fans expect Akhtar’s show to be an instant hit on the TV screen.
