Whatever the geopolitical situation between India and Pakistan, people on both sides of the border are known for lavishing love and affection on one another. The sport of cricket also has always united the people of the two nations.

A touching video of a Pakistani national providing a once-in-a-lifetime memory to an Indian family in Islamabad is capturing hearts. In a video posted on Twitter, a Pakistani national named Tahir Khan not only gave an Indian family a lift but also took them to his office and offered them food.

Cricket, as usual, brings together Indian and Pakistani fans, and Tahir discussed the sport with his neighbours. With the 20-20 World Cup underway, the Pakistani national jokingly urged his guests to give them Virat Kohli in exchange for the World Cup. “Aap Virat Kohli humein de do, aap trophy lekar jayein (Give us Virat Kohli, you may take the trophy),” he said.

Ihtisham Ul Haq, a Pakistani journalist, uploaded the viral video. I want my Indian friends and followers to watch this video. Team India and Pakistan are in the semi-finals of the ongoing 20-20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, competing for the coveted trophy. Kohli’s explosive batting performances have lit up the showpiece event. The star batter is currently the leading run-scorer of the tournament. He would look to continue this excellent form in the knockout stages as well.
In the meantime, Pakistan is currently playing New Zealand’s Kane Williamson in the first semi-finals at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The Men in Green are on track to win the match and qualify for the finals. India, on the other hand, will take on England tomorrow at the Adelaide Oval.
