Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav has recently been playing T20Is lately and has been in great form, hitting runs easily. On Thursday, December 14, at New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, the 33-year-old displayed his genius by hitting his fourth hundred in the format versus South Africa.
This was the third and last game of the series as India levelled the series. As the team’s skipper, he produced an incredible innings. He managed to hit seven fours as well as eight sixes on route to 100 runs from just 56 balls.
Owing to his brilliant innings, India amassed a formidable 201/7 in the 20 overs that were given to them. They went on to win convincingly by 106 runs and draw the series 1-1. But Suryakumar and Arshdeep Singh were involved in a fascinating event that happened on the team bus following the game.
In a serious debate, Suryakumar is seen raising his finger at Arshdeep. In a video that has gone popular on social media, the skipper might look serious. It’s still unclear what their interaction was about—whether it was sincere resentment or just a lighthearted joke.
