Suresh Raina is still supporting the Chennai team in the ongoing Indian T20 League even though he isn’t part of the team. In fact, he is working as a commentator, a job that requires a person to be neutral. Notably, he hasn’t been biased as far as the team is concerned and has been appreciated as the commentator by the fans. Recently, he said that he wishes to play for the team once again.
This week, he once again expressed his love for the Yellow Brigade while commentating on a game. A Twitter user asked the left-hander to say some words in Tamil and whistle. The 35-year-old sang some of the lyrics of a Chennai’s theme song in Tamil. The video has gone viral on social media and some of the fans have become emotional.

Talking about the team, the defending champions have had a poor start to their campaign. For the first time in the history of the cash-rich league, the team has lost the first two games of a season. They first played against Kolkata, against which they won the final of the last season. Kolkata took the revenge of the last year’s final defeat as they beat the Ravindra Jadeja-led side by six wickets.
The four-time winners then played against season debutants, Lucknow. They batted well against the KL Rahul-led side and amassed 210 runs. However, they couldn’t defend the total and lost the game by six wickets. They will play next against Punjab at the Brabourne Stadium on April 3. They will be looking forward to bounce back.
