Rajasthan players celebrated the birthday of Shimron Hetmyer’s fiancee, Nirvani on April 18 after the team won the game against Kolkata. Nirvani is currently in Guyana as she is expecting a child in the next few months. Shimron, who is part of the bio-bubble of the Rajasthan squad was seen celebrating his fiancé’s birthday with his teammates.
In a 43-second video uploaded by the franchise on Twitter, players such as skipper Sanju Samson, Riyan Parag, and others were seen celebrating her birthday. The video caption says that celebrating birthdays of near and dear ones is part of the team tradition.

Talking about his performances in the ongoing Indian T20 League 2022, he has amassed 223 runs in six games so far. The left-hander averages 32.17 and is striking at 158.80, batting in the lower middle order and has also scored a half-century against Lucknow. In that game, his side was struggling at 67/4 at one stage. His unbeaten innings of 59 off 36 balls helped the team reach a total of 165/6. The 2008 winners went on to win the game by three runs.
In the game against Kolkata, the 2016 U19 World Cup winning skipper played an unbeaten knock of 26 off 13. His side amassed 217/5, highest team total in the season so far. The Men in Pink and Blue were restricted to 210 all-out. Talking about the team’s performance, the team has won four and lost two and are on the third spot in the points table. They will play their next game against Delhi on April 22 at the MCA Stadium in Pune.
