Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni and his players had a reunion with some other former members of the team. Former India and CSK player Murali Vijay and former India selector Kris Srikkanth met the players from the team. In a video uploaded by the franchise, Dhoni, Bravo, Jadeja, batting coach, Michael Hussey, and others met the likes of Srikkanth and Vijay.

Srikkanth’s son, Anuirdha played for the Yellow Brigade in the first few seasons of the IPL. On the other hand, Vijay has done two stints with the four-time winners apart from playing for the Delhi Capitals and Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings). Meanwhile, in the video that is going viral, Dhoni could be seen meeting Srikkant.

“I salute you, boss,” Srikkantha, India’s opener in the 1983 World Cup, said, as he shook hands with Dhoni. The CSK captain, then, asked, “are you coming or going? What’s happening?”

Srikkanth replied, “I’m doing commentary here, I was doing commentary when you were hitting sixes. Superb, I tell you. Honestly, I tell you, I’m happy for you. God bless you!”
