WATCH: Mohammad Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan makes bizarre statement amid his astonishing performance in World Cup

Hasin Jahan-Mohammad Shami

Star India pacer Mohammad Shami has been phenomenal throughout the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023. He has taken 16 wickets in just four games and has been outstanding with the ball. Shami’s inclusion in the last four games has empowered India to name some amazing victories in the ongoing tournament.

However, his performance didn’t go well with his wife, Hasin Jahan. A year after a controversial divorce, Hasin came up to speak about India’s performance in the ongoing tournament. While speaking with a media channel, Hassen made some bizarre comments, which left fans in shock. She said that she could wish the best of luck to the Indian team but couldn’t do the same for Shami.

Here is the video:

“Kuch bhi hai, accha perform kr rha hai, accha khelega, team main bana rahega, achha kamayega toh humara bhavishya secure rahega. (Whatever it is, if he [Shami] is performing well, will stay with the Indian team, and earn well, it will secure our future.) I will give my best wishes to Team India, but not him”, says Haseen Jahan.

Haseen Jahan has accused Shami of domestic violence.

A few years ago, Jahan accused the pacer Shami of adultery, marital rape, match-fixing, and domestic violence, leading to a bitter divorce between the two. She also threatened to release all the proofs of her allegations to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and took custody of their only child.

Denying all the charges, Shami referred to his wife as ‘evil’ and vehemently stated that he could die for his country but never betray it, particularly addressing the match-fixing allegations. Earlier this year, Jahan moved the Supreme Court after the Calcutta High Court dismissed her plea to lift the stay on the arrest warrant against Shami. Subsequently, a session court in West Bengal stayed the arrest warrant against Shami.
