Australia’s opening batter Usman Khawaja was riled up by one of the members of the Lord’s when the players headed for the Lunch break. After the break was taken, the Aussies took the long room and headed towards the area where they are having a meal at the time of writing. During this, Khawaja was teased by one of the members. In reply, the left-hander started giving him back verbally.

The stewards taking care of the security pulled Khawaja away. In the video, David Warner can also be seen standing up for his teammate. For a long time, the two-time World Cup winner hasn’t gotten involved in activities like this. However, it seems that the member of the Home of Cricket said something nasty to the players that led to this.

Talking about the game, the home team started the day with 114/4 on the board. The likes of Ben Duckett and skipper Ben Stokes put together 132 runs for the fifth wicket after the side was reduced to 45/4. Once again, the former got out to a bouncer and missed out on his hundred after scoring 83 runs. On the other hand, Jonny Bairstow got run out in the most unusual manner.

This might have led to what happened in the long room. Meanwhile, in the last five overs before Lunch, the Three Lions scored 50 runs, reducing the deficit to 128 runs. After the Lunch break, Stokes hit a six but got a third lease of life in the first over after Lunch as Steve Smith dropped a dolly. In Stokes’ pursuit of his Test hundred, Mitchell Starc also dropped a catch and helped the ball over the ropes. At the time of writing, England has scored 263/6, needing 108 runs to win. It seems Stokes might pull off another Headingley heroics in the ongoing game.
