Kane Williamson amazes with stunning catch

Kane Williamson, New Zealand’s star batter, is all set to lead his team in the upcoming three-match T20I series against the Hardik Pandya-led Indian team set to get underway on November 18, Friday in Wellington. Ahead of the stadium, the two captains met for the photoshoot and as one could expect, there were many light moments to take away from the shoot.

However, one moment that caught the eyes of fans was Williamson’s reflexes when the trophy was about to fall from the trophy holder board during the photoshoot. To add more to the incident, when the two captains were posing with the trophy, the board eventually collapsed due to the gusty winds, and it was Williamson who caught hold of the trophy.

Here is the video featuring Kane Williamson:

It’s gonna be quite exciting: Hardik Pandya

With India’s main players rested for the series, a fresh Indian team under the leadership of Hardik Pandya will take on New Zealand and the captain spoke out on the criticism ahead of the most-anticipated series.

Saying that they do not have main players for the series, Pandya said that it would be crucial for them to enjoy the game of cricket and allow the youngsters to play their natural game, given that they already have experience in international cricket.

“Main boys are not here but the talent we have… The players who are already here, have been playing for India for one and a half two years now so they have had enough time in international cricket to express themselves. very excited for them, new guys, new bunch, new energy, so it’s gonna be quite exciting,” Pandya was quoted as saying.

“The next 20-20 World Cup will be in two years if I’m not wrong so we have time. Till then, a lot of cricket will be played, a lot of people will have enough chances. The roadmap starts now but it’s quick (to make any comments). We’ll sit down and start having those conversations. Right now, it’s about letting the boys enjoy it, it’s a beautiful country to play cricket, we’ll talk about the future later,” said the Indian captain further.
