The Indian T20 League is always an excellent opportunity for youngsters to shine. Umran Malik had a fantastic time at the previous tournament. The pacer, who was born in Jammu and Kashmir, had an average of 20.18 and took 22 wickets from 14 games. He also had one four-wicket haul and one five-wicket haul during the 2022 season. The speedster was called up for the Indian national team due to his ball-handling abilities.
With 21 players, J&K leads the auction list, followed by Karnataka, UP, Tamil Nadu, and Delhi, tied for second with 16 players each. Although the India T20 League is regarded as the ideal place for discovering some of the best young and exciting talent, a few veterans have also entered the competition.
The oldest player participating in the auction this year will be Amit Mishra. The 40-year-old has taken the third-most wickets in the competition so far. Mishra failed to find a buyer in 2022 because of his fitness issues, but he has maintained his composure since making a recent appearance on the domestic circuit.
At the age of 15, Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar of Afghanistan will be the player to go up for auction this season. The teenager has registered himself for a base fee of 20 lakhs Indian rupees. Afghanistan’s Shpageeza Cricket League has featured Ghazanfar as a player. Ben Stokes, Sam Curran, and Cameron Green will be some of the best overseas players to look out for in the season.
