Earlier today at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Australian opener David Warner finished off his final ‘Boxing Day Test’ of his career. However, it occurred in an unmemorable way during the second Test versus Pakistan. Warner was bowled out by Mir Hamza after managing only six runs off 16 deliveries. He scored three fours and 38 runs in 83 deliveries earlier in the previous innings.
At the conclusion of the third Test, which will take place at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), Warner will officially end his Test career. In a kind move, Warner donated his gloves to a young audience member as he got off the ground.
The MCG stadium is very important to Warner’s career since he made his debut for his country there in 2009. He hit seven fours as well as six sixes during his debut innings of 89 from 43 balls. Moreover, he made the ton against a top-tier South African attack.
Pakistan fightback during second innings against Australia
