India is currently taking on Sri Lanka in the second ODI match of their series at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The Men in Blue dominated the first match as they won it by 67 runs. In the second match as well, they dominated the first innings with the ball as they restricted Sri Lanka to a score of 215 runs.

During the innings, an incident involving Hardik Pandya caught everyone’s attention. The star all-rounder was heard swearing at the 12th man for not getting him water on time. “Paani maanga that last over, and marwa rahe ho udhar,” he was heard saying. A video of the same has gone viral all over the internet ever since.

Here is Hardik Pandya’s wicket

As for the game, the Indian bowlers had a great outing at the iconic venue. They were able to restrict the visitors to a low score in the first innings with all of them doing a good job. Kuldeep Yadav, with a spell of 10-0-51-3, was the pick of the bowlers. Mohammed Siraj also took three wickets in the game and conceded 30 runs in his 6-over spell.

Umran Malik also took two wickets in the game, while Axar Patel took one. Hardik Pandya and Mohammed Shami went wicketless in the match. For the Lankans, debutant Nuwanidu Fernando was the only saving grace in the first innings. The opening batter scored 50 runs in 63 balls that he faced, with the help of six boundaries.

Having already won the first match at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, India will look to seal the series at the Eden Gardens itself. The final match of the series will be played at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.

On the other hand, the team led by Dasun Shanaka will look to level the series. Although that looks like a very uphill task for them, they do have a talented bunch of players who can win them some matches.
