During a recent Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024 match between Rangpur Riders and Durdanto Dhaka at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, former Pakistan captain Babar Azam visibly expressed frustration. Babar directed his displeasure at Dhaka’s wicketkeeper, Irfan Sukkur after he made some comments about his innings.
Irfan commented on Babar’s slow innings and said, “Babar ye T20 hai, test match nahi.” Expressing his displeasure, Babar said, “I am not talking to you,” while batting partner Mohammad Nabi tried to address the situation. On-field umpires intervened to restore order to the proceedings.
