r It seemed that CM Punk was happy to meet a well-known face at Survivor Series: WarGames 2023. Yesterday during the WWE’s pay-per-view event, CM Punk finally returned. He returned to the promotion after nine years away, and today at Survivor Series: WarGames 2023, he was met with a standing ovation.
A curious clip was recorded by a fan following the show’s cancellation. CM Punk can be seen staring at The Viper and striking the Randy Orton position in the video. Then, punk gave Orton a quick hello before making his way backstage.
Two of the strongest names in pro wrestling right now are Orton and Punk. The pair engaged in several matches on WWE TV back in the day. Their greatest encounter was in 2011 at WrestleMania 27, where The Viper defeated Punk with a decisive victory.
Based on Punk’s response to Randy Orton’s attendance at Survivor Series: WarGames 2023, it appears that the two seasoned pros are still friendly. If and when the two megastars square up in the future is a matter for time to tell.

Triple H shows his excitement for CM Punk’s return!
Triple H, the Chief Content Officer of WWE, recently posted a photo of himself backstage with CM Punk after the latter’s comeback at the Survivor Series WarGames 2023. Punk made a spectacular comeback at this evening’s Premium Live Event. He made his debut in the closing seconds of the programme, and he quickly became the talk of the wrestling world.
Not long later, Triple H posted a backstage photo he shot with CM Punk on Twitter. He tweeted with the caption, “Mighty cold day in hell. #SurvivorSeries”
Punk and Triple H have experienced a sufficient amount of problems in the past. The former had taken a serious jab at The Game during an appearance on Colt Cabana’s show after leaving WWE. Punk expressed his displeasure at Triple H’s victory over him at the 2011 Night of Champions.
Based on the response he got tonight during Survivor Series WarGames 2023, punk is still relevant. Considering that he is back in the WWE after a nine-year hiatus, it is unclear who he will take on as his first opponent.
