Virat Kohli has made a remarkable comeback to international cricket after making taking a break for a month from mid-July to August. The star batter recently played one of the greatest innings of his career against Pakistan to guide India to an improbable win in the ongoing 20-20 World Cup 2022. Kohli once again won his fans back with his scintillating innings and his fandom is expanding every day. One video of a young fan of Virat Kohli has been doing rounds on social media.

In the video, the child can be seen saying ‘King Kohli’ again and again while his mother keeps asking him to say former Indian Captain Ms Dhoni’s name. However, the stubborn child keeps on chanting King Kohli passionately in front of his mother.

Virat Kohli being seen at his vintage best in the 20-20 World Cup

Virat Kohli is once again seen at his usual best in the ongoing 20-20 World Cup. He began the tournament in some style with his magnificent knock of 82 off 53 balls against the arch-rivals which helped them chase down the target of 160. He followed it up with another half-century in the next game against the Netherlands where he scored an unbeaten 62 off 44 balls to help India reach a total of 179 batting first.

Before the World Cup, he finished as the second-highest run scorer in the Asia Cup 2022 where he amassed 276 runs at an average of 92 and strike rate of 147.59. He also brought up his long-awaited 71st international hundred in India’s last match of the Asia Cup against Afghanistan. The star batter remained unbeaten on 122 off just 61 balls scoring his first hundred in T20 internationals. Fans all around the world were eagerly waiting for the former Indian captain to notch up a hundred since November 2019. The 33-year-old finally ended the wait after a gap of 1020 days.

Virat Kohli has also become the highest run scorer in T20 internationals having 3868 runs to his name at an average of 52.27 and a strike rate of 138.34. Kohli will be next seen in action in India’s next match against Bangladesh in the 20-20 World Cup on Thursday.
