In a recent interview, Babar Azam shared his thoughts on some of his favourite cricket players in the world. Babar Azam is well-known as one of the best cricket players globally, especially in shorter formats like One Day Internationals (ODIs). He’s consistently been among the top run-scorers in these formats and is a crucial player for Pakistan in international competitions.

Babar greatly admires Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Kane Williamson, considering them the finest batters globally. He praises their ability to understand and adapt to the game conditions, which, in his opinion, makes them the best in the business. According to Babar, “Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Kane Williamson are my favourite batters in the world. They’re the top players in the world. They read the conditions well, that’s why they are the best. I admire them.”

Babar also appreciates how these three cricket stalwarts consistently rescue their teams from tricky situations and manage to score even when facing formidable bowling lineups. He acknowledges the exceptional way Rohit, Kohli, and Williamson perform under pressure and hopes to learn from their approach. Babar Azam further adds, “The best thing I like about Virat, Rohit, and Kane is how they get the team out of difficult situations and score runs against tough bowling. This is what I try to learn from them.”
