Rishabh Pant has turned 25 and the wishes have been pouring in for him across social media.A lot of former and current cricketers have wished him on his big day. In the midst of this, he has gotten a very unique birthday wish on Twitter. Former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer came up with a meme featuring Pant and India skipper Rohit Sharma.

Apparently, the left-hander is yet to bat after the Asia Cup 2022 game against Afghanistan. In the three-match series against Australia, he sat out for the first and third games. In the second game, he didn’t get to bat at all. Also, in the ongoing series against South Africa, the former India U19 player has kept wickets but is yet to bat.
Rishabh Pant might open the innings in the third T20I
Ahead of the third T20I on October 4, he might get to bat at the top order alongside Rohit Sharma. Apparently, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli are likely to be rested for the last game which doesn’t have any consequence on the series result. The Men In Blue are leading the series by 2-0. Pant previously batted up the order in T20Is during the England tour where they played three T20Is. However, he didn’t have great returns with the bat.
This time around, the 20-20 World Cup 2022 is around the corner which is why the team would like to give him some time in the middle. After this game, the team will head to Australia for the showpiece event. Before their tournament starts, they will play two warm-up games. Rohit Sharma’s men will start their campaign with the game against Pakistan on October 23 in Melbourne. India has been grouped with Pakistan, Bangladesh, and South Africa in the Super 12 round. Two more teams will join them after the first round.
