Australia’s star batter Steve Smith went unsold in the mega auction last season, and now, he has decided to opt-out of the tournamnet altogether. In the quickest format of the game, Smith is no longer regarded as one of the best players.
The right-handed batter has left a long legacy behind, having played over a hundred matches in the tournament. The veteran last played for the Delhi team in the 2021 season. Smith surely will be missed in the upcoming edition.
