In the ODI World Cup 2023, South Africa scored 428 runs against Sri Lanka, which is the highest team total in the tournament. It is the second 400+ total for South Africa in the last three ODI matches. Aiden Markram, Quinton De Kock, and Rassie Van Der Dussen scored a hundred for proteas. Captain Markram scored the fastest hundred in the ODI World Cup.
