For 8 long years, it remained the record for being the highest score in the ODI World Cup. In Port of Spain, India smashed the bowlers of Bermuda for fun. Till that point, India was known for its batting. It was a glimpse of the might of the Indian batting. The bowlers of Bermuda had no answers to the attack of the Indian batters. In the end, India scored 413 runs. Bermuda was down and out, as India won the match comfortably. To date, it is the highest score by the Indian team in the ODI World Cup.
