Roger Binny
Former Indian cricketer and member of the 1983 World Cup-winning team Roger Binny is the most likely candidate to succeed Sourav Ganguly as President. The former Indian pacer previously served on the selection committee and is currently an Office Bearer at the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA).
On Thursday, Roger Binny’s name appeared as a representative of the KSCA on the Indian Cricket Board’s Draft Electoral Rolls (posted on the board website) for the October 18 elections and the Annual General Meeting instead of KSCA secretary Santosh Menon. All of this has fueled speculation that he is the frontrunner for the position of President.
