3. Lack of proper death bowlers: While Rajasthan was decent with their bowling efforts in the powerplay, they struggled a lot in the death overs.
Trent Boult did the job in the powerplays, but in the death overs, they did not have a proper pacer. Prasidh Krishan was their prime option for the phase in the tournament and he conceded over 11 runs per over failing to live up to the expectations. They had to try and fill the hole by using bowlers like Kuldeep Sen till they found Obed McCoy, who partly solved their problem. But ahead of the next season, Rajasthan will surely look for a better death bowling option.
