The fastest Indian to 150 played his best innings only a few weeks ago. Ishan Kishan, a non-regular in the ODI squad, came in for the injured Rohit Sharma in the final of the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh. India had already lost the series, but the youngster had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shine ahead of the 2023 World Cup.
He smashed a scintillating 210 off 131 balls, brutally clearing the boundaries against everything Bangladeshi bowlers threw at him. He hit 150 off 103 balls in that game, and his scoring rate only increased from there. In total, the 24-year-old hit 24 boundaries and 10 sixes.
